Very easy assignment, where I almost got bored. Uses epic. Laid back management and co-workers. No difficult surgeries performed. The staff is also IR and cath lab, so they needed pacu covered when they were spread out. I was on call every third weekend, but rarely get called in. During the week, staff including myself are on call once or twice a night. Regular staff were scheduled until 4, so you're on call from then until the next morning at 0700. They are a little unorganized, but staff is always there to answer questions. Town was a little boring but with such a laid back assignment it was manageable!
